The nursery

Growera grows a wide range of whips in its own nursery.  The company has around 13 hectares of land where approximately 75.000 rootstocks are planted each year to be grown up to the sizes 175-200 till 8-10. In 2016 Growera started with the production of whips in C3 container.Now the sortiment is expanded with a sortiment that coudn't be cultivated previously due to the kind of soil where Growera is growing trees. By adding container cultivation, the assortment has expandes considerably.
Species that previously could not be grown due the acidity(PH) of the soil can now be delivered in container, like Acer rubrum cultivars, Sorbus,Amelanchier etc.

A great deal of time and money is invested in educating our employees, but modern mechanisation is also of major importance to a quality supply guarantee.  Even though our own nursery forms the basis of the company, we can also add to our range with trees and/or whips from colleague nurseries and partners.
